Flows: The easy-to-use agentic content supply chain platform

Turn slow manual content production into autonomous governed workflows that scale speed, volume, and content consistency across channels.

You don’t need 10 assets anymore, you need 10,000

Commerce doesn’t only run on websites anymore. It runs on content, everywhere. With Workforce Flows, automate everything boring, accelerate everything important.

Avoiding the “handoff“ black hole in the content supply chain

It’s not the work that’s slow, it’s the space between teams in disconnected loops. Momentum dies in email threads and manual handoffs, and you pay full price for half-speed execution.

Don’t fear innovation, lead it

Workforce exists because the old content supply chain collapses under AI-driven scale and channel explosion. Workforce provides foundational infrastructure for our perpetually uncertain future.

Agentic workflows automate multi-step processes across text, imagery, metadata, translations, approvals, and publishing. Teams that start now will gain speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency that competitors can’t match.

Supplier Image Normalization

Suppliers send you a mess - different backgrounds, missing metadata, and “noisy“ files. Stop the manual photo editing cycle. Workforce agents ingest raw supplier assets, strip the noise, and prep them for your storefront automatically.

Automated Alt Text

Most brands settle for “product-123.jpg“ or burn hours writing manual tags. We turned accessibility from a legal chore into a customer win. Our agents write descriptive, high-quality Alt-text that actually helps people buy.

Product Description Enrichment

Technical specs don't sell products - stories do. Workforce takes dry data from your PIM and transforms it into persuasive, brand-aligned marketing copy. It’s localizing your brand voice at scale.

Intelligent Q&A (FAQ) Generation

Give customers answers before they have to ask. Workforce researches your products and analyzes real reviews to generate FAQs that address actual buying hesitations.

Workforce Flows FAQs

Workforce Flows is Amplience’s workflow automation platform for commerce content teams. It’s a visual builder where you create automated production pipelines — called Flows — that handle content generation, image processing, translation, approval, publishing and more with or without manual intervention. Think of it as digital workflow automation designed specifically for commerce content: the kind that runs continuously, supercharging your team’s capacity and bandwidth to accomplish more with less.

No. Workforce Flows is a no-code/low-code workflow automation tool. You build flows visually by connecting actions — triggers, content generation templates, AI agents, image actions, and outputs — in a drag-and-drop interface. Under the hood, it’s API-first, JSON-schema driven, and highly extensible. For teams that want to go beyond the built-in library, our integrations framework supports creating custom actions. But the vast majority of content workflow automation use cases require zero code.

Standard automations follows fixed programmatic conditions. Agentic AI workflows allow for a spectrum of autonomous capabilities, allowing them to reason, adapt, and act within your defined guardrails.

Workforce Flows allow you to leverage pre-built agents as steps in a content production process. Agents are provided with goals, inputs, instructions and tools they can use to accomplish those goals reliably every time your Flow is run. From automating research to autonomous decision-making (within defined parameters), agents can be customized to perform specific or open-ended tasks, just like skilled workers you employ. They’re not if/then scripts; they’re intelligent helpers that get you from point A to point B in a fraction of the time.

Workforce Flows covers a wide range of automation use cases: automating product description generation from commerce data, multilingual content generation and translation, bulk alt text generation triggered on asset upload, product image standardization and background removal, SEO content creation, buying guide generation using live web research, automated asset tagging with custom taxonomies, and much more. If it’s repeatable and content-oriented, there’s likely a Flow for it.

Workforce Flows connects directly to commerce platforms including Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud, Commercetools, Shopify, BigCommerce, and Amazon Q Business. This means flows can pull live product data, generate on-brand content, process product images, and push outputs back into your commerce stack automatically, at scale. That’s agentic commerce: AI that acts on product data without waiting for human input at every step.

Manual and automated triggers give teams the flexibility to initiate a Flow on-demand or based on events that happen in other systems. Manual triggers accept structured or unstructured input data - ideal for lower-volume content creation. Webhook Triggers fire automatically when an event occurs in a connected system, such as an asset being published in your DAM or a product record being created in your PIM. Webhook-triggered flows are where fully automated, lights-out digital workflow automation becomes possible.

Yes. Every flow can include one or more Human Review actions, which pause the workflow and route the outputs to a reviewer before continuing. Reviewers can approve, reject, or modify outputs before they’re sent down the line. This makes Workforce Flows suitable for content workflows that require brand or legal sign-off before publishing, without breaking the automation.

No. The no-code workflow automation layer handles many use cases out of the box, with several built-in content generation templates, specialized agents, diverse image processing actions, and conditional branching logic. For teams that need more, the Integration Framework supports custom JavaScript actions within a flow. You get the speed of no-code with the power of code, on demand.

Workforce Flows supports two types of conditional branching. Logic Decision uses rules-based conditions you define explicitly. Decision Agent uses AI reasoning where you describe what each branch represents in natural language, and the agent decides which path to take based on the input. One branch fires per run. This is the core of agentic AI workflows: systems that make content routing decisions autonomously.

Translation Agents within a flow take any generated or provided content and scale it across multiple locales simultaneously. Customized to suit your internal business processes and needs, Flows can be designed to produce localized product descriptions, alt text, and SEO copy across your entire catalogue — in one run, not one locale at a time.

Workforce Flows is enterprise-grade workflow automation software. Customer data is never used to train AI models. Amplience holds enterprise agreements with all underlying AI model providers.

Workforce is enabled at the organization level. Contact your Amplience Account Manager or book a content consultation to get started. Once enabled, all hubs in your organization have access. No per-hub setup is required.
